Take care of your skin in cold weather

Cold weather and wind are affecting the skin, especially the sensitive skin. In winter, take better care of yourself!

You’ll have to give special attention to your face skin, because it’s the most exposed during winter. In fact, your whole body is suffering from cold, so don’t ignore any area!

Start the caring from inside out. A healthy strong body radiates beauty. The mornings drink a glass of water with lemon in it. The C vitamin increases the body’s natural resistance and contributes to the body detoxification, including the skin cells regeneration! More than that, it helps you stay in shape. Drink as much natural juice as possible.

Your body doesn’t only need liquids in the summer, but in the winter also. The moisturizing rule is applied all the time, so drink 2 liters of water every day!

You may use a simple technique that helps rejuvenating the skin by circulatory stimulation. Keep the hot water for a minute while showering, and then alternate it with 10 seconds of cold water. Don’t overdo it at first, use warm water instead of cold, and decrease its temperature gradually.

Compensate the aggression of the external factors on the skin by adding an extra hour of sleep. If you want your skin to shine, sleep at least 8 hours a night, to allow the skin cells to regenerate.

Low temperature is an aggression factor to the skin, which becomes dryer and harsh. To keep the skins elasticity and avoid its premature aging, use every morning a cream with a UV protection factor. After shower, apply on your whole body a nourishing cream, rich in vitamins. Before leaving the house, remember to apply a protecting lip balm and a hand cream for velvet-like hands.

Exfoliation is needed because it removes the dead skin cells and rejuvenates the skin texture. Having a special facial skin scrub and a body scrub is a must! Massaging the skin with a astringent lotion cleans deeply and activates visibly the circulation. This way the skin will have a greater absorbing power, and the creams applied will be able to act deeper. Have this routine once a week, and you won’t regret it!
